The goal of the Newcomer resource is to provide English Language Learner (ELL) students enrolled in US schools for less than 2 years with extended language instruction. Daily practice in basic language structures and reading comprehension are geared toward grade level instruction with integrated reading, writing, listening and speaking activities. Students are encouraged to build their English language through interactive practice and task-based repetition.
